Solar Power To Replace 69% of USA’s Energy
By Nick January 9, 2008

More and more organizations are investing in projects involving the use of solar energy. Specialists say that by 2050, 69% of the electricity and 35% of total energy will derive from the sun. A big area o photovoltaic cells will be built and excess energy obtained during the day will be stockpiled in underground caverns. Also, they will build vast solar concentrator power plants that demand direct power transmission in order to send the solar energy through USA. These projects necessitate a large amount of money, about $420 billion, from 2011 to 2020, are needed to built an infrastructure and to be worthwhile. By the end, the project will grow from 10 square miles to 16,000 square miles. We think this is a daring idea but in the same time it’s imperative for the environment.
