Rechargeable Batteries To Save The Planet ?
By Nick January 10, 2008

Did you know that by using disposable batteries you pollute the environment 32 times more than if you used rechargeable batteries ? At least that’s what a new study say and also that rechargeable batteries use 23 times less natural resources.
Disposable batteries also pollute the water and create a landfill waste, because there is much more material used, as you have to change them very often. Unfortunately, currently a household uses about 21 batteries per year and 99% of them are thrown away. If everybody used rechargeable batteries there would definitely by a pollution decrease.
