Portable PowerCube Produces Renewable Energy
By Nick March 27, 2008

The PowerCube is portable solar generator which produces energy without emissions, heat or noise. The developer of the one ton device is called Reluminati and you can buy it for about $25,000. You might wonder what makes it so portable although it weighs one ton. Well, if you dispose of a forklift then you won’t have any problem with the solar generator that measures 6×4x4 feet.
The PowerCube produces 600 watts of continuous energy with the help of three solar panels and six Marine 200 Amp batteries. The components of the device are very safe and the design is innovative, also if you want more power you can link one cube to another to form a chain of power.
The PowerCube is ready to use as soon as exits the factory and you can use for both off and on grid, for either short or long terms. According to its designers, the cube uses an innovative plug-and-play design which is also unique on the market.

Looks like a xerox machine LOL
Hello!
Excelent site !!
did they have to make it look like a chair? i mean, what would happen if they decided to put up that thing at a luddites’ convention centre? given the kind of stuff they use to make that technology work (pretty nasty chemicals), there’d be one less idiot to contend with on earth (tempting, but not worth the 1000’s of dollars spend replacing the hardware).
on top of that, imagine the sales pitch: here you go, the only electrical power generator in the world that actually looks comfy after you put cushions on it! but if you sit on it, be prepared to get a dose of nasty chemicals and shards of broken fuel cells where, normally , the sun don’t shine (until you sit on it, that is). here’s a tip: turn it into a cube. that way, it doesn’t have to move according to where the sun is (the sun moves automatically, the flap doesn’t) and there will be a few more idiots that survive in the world because their means of removal is too expensive.
This is fake, or at the very least the pic is unrelated, unless it’s made of neutronium there’s no way it’s big enough to way a ton look at the glass panel, it has buttons and ports, and if you need a forklift then it’s not very efficient since due to its design it would only catch sun for at most half the day. Add that to the way the top panel is connected and the little latches on it, note that there is no way you could deploy that top panel if it did way 1,000 pounds, and the fact that the bottom panel can’t be folded down the way they have it and you can rest assured that this is not a real design.
It is not fake. Those “little” latches are massive. It can close, the panel that is not fastened by a support cable is removable, and stacks on top of the other panel. It is about 3-4 feet tall, and weighs so much because it has massive batteries in it(Very un-eco ones too?)
so many experts, so little information…apathy, apathy…..
