New Type of Solar Cells

A group of scientists from Fujimori Kogyo and Toin University in Yokohama, Japan has developed a solar cell made of regular sheet, not of expensive silicone, using normal printing techniques. The cells are .015 inches (.44 mm) thick and they have an efficiency of 6% that is expected to grow in February, 2008 once they start shipping.
