Another step forward for the usage of solar energy has been made by the city of San Francisco. Mayor Gavin Newsom says that they are working on a project regarding to help the people from the Bay Area, where is the perfect climate for solar, get loans and rebates up to $10,000 for businesses and $3,000 to $5,000 for residents. Their objective is to reach a number of 10,000 of solar panels over the next decade. To make this dream come true this plan needs the approval from the City Board of Supervisors, but also from the voting population and if this works out, the plan will start this summer.
