Well, it seems like our predictions are correct as another hydro power system has been developed by Hydro Green Energy. The hydro turbine is place along rivers and the waves generate energy. They started this project a few years ago, but now they perfected their system now.

The turbine is mounted on a barge and then they submerge it. This is a different sollution because other hydro systems are built from the river bottom and others consist of damming the stream. This sytem is low-cost and it’s a big opportunity to increase the hydro-power facilities and produce electricity.

Hydro Green Energy is going to test their technology in Minnesota as they will place the system on an existing dam which could boost the efficiency of the dam and it’s for the best because it can produce immediately energy for the consumers. The purpose of this testing is to understand and eventually make some improvements for this hydro system before its gets into mass production.

The hydro power system is expected to improve the 4.4 MW of production with 200 kilowatts and for the next decade they target more than 5 Gigawatts of productivity. We hope that they successfully complete their tests and get into production as soon as possible because the humanity needs to produce more clean power with minimal environmental impact.
