CCC Refuse Truck

Crane Carrier Company is a developer and manufacturer of heavy-duty refuse trucks with their headquarters in Tusla, Oklahoma. The CCC has started testing a new generation of refuse vehicles - Class 7 and 8 that will feature hydraulic hybrid and electric hybrid technologies.

The heavy-duty machines will bring out a decrease of 30 to 50 percent of the fuel and of the CO2 emissions. The CCC is being aided by the ISE Corporation which put forward the first series of hybrid electric refuse vehicles or HEV. These trucks will make use of Nickel-Metal Hydride rechargeable batteries which will stock energy as a follow of the operations made by the HEVs.

Also, the HEVs will feature GPS and RDU which stands for Remote Diagnostic Unit which shows the status of the trucks and provides Internet Access. Alongside Crane Carrier Company there also other members involved Houston, City of Chicago, the Department of Sanitation and the Solid Waste Management Department.
