Google Plans To Use Renewable Energy
By Nick November 28, 2007

Google has announced it’s plans to use alternative ways of energy production, other than coal. They are planning to use renewable energy sources, like wind, geothermal and solar power. The main two reasons they are doing this is to reduce production costs and to protect the environment.
Also, they don’t seem to use current technologies, but develop new ones and will invest tens of million in research. It will probably be a good investment for them, thinking of their datacenter size and that they could then sell it or put it on mass production.
It’s a good thing another big company is thinking about the environment and will take measures to protect it.
