Eco-Houses Coming To Cyprus
By Nick May 6, 2008

I have always encouraged green architecture and green structures therefore I am pleased to see any sustainable buildings to be born. The Italian-based architects, Iosa Ghini Associati, have designed an eco-house “with the aim of creating a new residential area alongside Pedieos River, near Nicosia, Cyprus”.

The entire project includes four single family luxury houses that will feature smog-eating photo-catalytic concrete and a flowing fusion of glass. All houses will be based on adjustable solar panels, rainwater recycling and a heat storage system all destined for producing clean energy to power up the buildings.

There is no information regarding the deadline for the eco-houses to be completed, but for the moment the site of the residences is being cleared in order to start the construction.
