A 300% More Efficient Electric Motor
By Nick May 26, 2008

An inventor has developed an electric motor which is supposed to be 300% times more efficient than a conventional one. Zhaan Jordaan’s electric motor is capable of producing 120% more kinetic watts than regular motors because it uses 12 volts of DC power supply with 7,5 applied ampere.
This technique allows the drive to produce 288 W of mechanical power on a Dynamometer which means that it doesn’t need any fuel and results in a drive 300% more efficient. Jordaan started his research about five years ago when he was working for the South African government.
“My work brought me in close contact with people in the rural areas, where I worked closely with Eskom in funding projects in rural areas. It became apparent that people in rural areas have an enormous problem with electricity. I was also aware of the fact that government had mandated Eskom to supply electricity to a certain number of homes by the year 2015. It was this information that prompted the invention a generator that does not use fuel”, he said.
Zhaan Jordaan is very optimistic regarding the future of his prototype, although it hasn’t been used in any projects. He hopes that in the next few years his electric motor will be used in many applications.

Well, it has to use SOME kind of fuel…. Human powered, wind, solar, diesel, guinea pig-on-a-wheel….?
Ah, I re-read the first paragraph more closely: apparently its “fuel source” is a 12 volt DC power supply….
Interesting, but why do these stories so frequently come without references, or sufficient biographical or technical detail to independently pursue the story or information therein?
Simply hook up a 12 v generator to the output and feed it to the input and it will run forever…..
NOT!!!
