Monday, May 26th, 2008An inventor has developed an electric motor which is supposed to be 300% times more efficient than a conventional one. Zhaan Jordaan’s electric motor is capable of producing 120% more kinetic watts than regular motors because it uses 12 volts of DC power supply with 7,5 applied ampere.
Nanowires To Improve Solar Cells Efficiency
Sunday, May 25th, 2008Two teams of scientists working separately, both studying the nanowire technology, discovered two different ways to use nanowires in the solar cells efficiency-boosting process. The first one from the UC San Diego created hair solar cells, meaning that they are of microscopical sizes. They play the role of nanowires, completing thus very small circuits.
